Selected in the 35th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft by the Detroit Tigers. Played 4 years in their Minor League System as a switch-hitting catcher, first baseman and outfielder.
Graduated High School in 2012 and graduated from the University of Rhode Island in the Spring of 2021 with a degree in Health and Physical Education. Jacob is currently the Adapted Physical Education teacher at Barrington High School, Barrington, Rhode Island.

Jacob is interested and willing to give instruction and advice to families on an individual basis in football, hockey and baseball.
