For over 60 years I've been actively involved in both amateur and professional sports. As a player, I started in Little League Baseball at age 9; High School/ Prep School I played football, basketball and baseball (4 years); College, I played football (3 years); Professionally with the New England Patriots Football Club (1 year).

I was the personal coach and advisor to 1990 Cy Young Award Winner, the late Bob Welch, Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland A's.
From 1972 through 1990 I worked as an advisor and consultant to my brother, Jerry Kapstein. In that roll, we represented and advised many professional athletes, both male and female, with their contract negotiations. Today, I continue advising both of my sons in their business affairs and work and school situations.
